After his studies in Industrial Product Design and Musictechnology, Janco Verduin (the Netherlands, 1972) studied at the Royal Conservatory The Hague with Louis Andriessen, Martijn Padding, Gillius van Bergeijk, and Richard Ayres.
He has cooperated with and written music for Ensemble Modelo62, Nieuw Amsterdams Peil, Orkest de Ereprijs, SPECTRA ensemble, Nieuw Ensemble, ASKO ensemble, Cantus Ansambl and the Dutch Student Orchestra amongst others.
Verduin's music is performed regularly in the Netherlands and abroad, at concerts and festivals like the Gaudeamus International Muziekweek 2008, 2009 and 2010,Iordens viooldagen 2010 and November Music 2009, 2013 & 2014.
Currently he is working on new works for David Kweksilber Big Band, percussion player Aldo Aranda and recorder player Josephine Bode.
