Information: Born Budapest. Studied at the Béla Bartók Conservatory, first piano then composition under István Szelényi 1953-56. Transferred to the Academy of Music in 1956, where he studied composition under János Viski, and after Viski’s death under Ferenc Farkas. Graduated in 1962, since when he has been teaching piano at the courses of the Municipal Music School Organization. Took part, with succes, in several competitions, in 1965 his “Introduzione e Allegro” was awarded the third prize at the composition competition organized in honour of the 200th anniversary of the “Harmonien” Orchestra, Bergen. He composed choral works, works for chorus and orchestra, orchestral music, chamber music, piano music, organ music, instrumental music, works for the youth, wrote treatments and incidental music.
