Susanne Stelzenbach born in Reudnitz (Thuringia) / lives as a freelance composer and pianist in Berlin / studied piano at the Higher School of Music “Hanns Eisler†Berlin / 1976-1983 taught at the Higher School of Music “Hanns Eisler†/ has given concerts as a soloist and performed in a number of chamber music groups / 1987 began writing compositions for solo instruments, chamber music groups and electroacoustic music / since 1997 has composed, produced and conducted a number of multimedia works in collaboration with the composer Ralf Hoyer: music-theatre, concert- video- and soundinstallations for the International Musikbiennale Berlin, Hebbel-Theater Berlin, ACARTE-Festival Lissabon, Academy of Arts Berlin, Staatsschauspiel Dresden and others / Scholarships: Swedish Institut, Stiftung Kulturfonds Berlin, Denkmalschmiede Hoefgen, Musikakademie Rheinsberg – composer in residence, State Brandenburg, Berliner Kompositionsauftrag 2005
