Aladov, Nikolai Ilyich (1890-1972)
Russian-born Belorussian composer. Graduated from the St. Petersburg Conservatoire in 1910. As the director of the Minsk Conservatoire, he was an influential teacher; also composed the first Belorussian symphonies and chamber works.
