Information: Prolific composer, Stefano Taglietti has composed more than one hundred and forty works for orchestral organic, choral, chamber music, theater, the image, through the use of new technologies. Most of the works are published by Rai Com but also from Chester Music London and others. He has received commissions from: Hans Werner Henze, the Nuremberg Opera, Berlin Philharmonie; The 51st Venezia Biennale from 2007 to 2012; National Academy of Santa Cecilia; Festival of Two Worlds in Spoleto; Academy of France- doctors Villa; Venice Biennale-Architecture; Rai Nuova Musica; Gerd Albrecht for Deutsche Pavillon Hanover expo 2000; Orch. Reg. In Rome and Lazio; Cantiere Internazionale d’art of Montepulciano 5 editions; Contempoartensemble ,; wilderness trails, etc. His music has also been performed at Opera Nuremberg, Berlin Philharmonie; Podewil- Berlin, City University of Paris, Salle Vitali, Teatro La MaMa in New York, Freshno Opera Festival California-USA, Cincinnati University, Cracow Festival Strawinky, and imprtanti international festival of Contemporary Music in Prague, Kiev, Lviv, and seasons theater at the Teatro Comunale di Bologna, Ravello Festival, Festival dei Due Mondi in Spoleto and at several other institutions in Europe, East Europe, Middle East, USA and south America. He teaches in several Italian conservatories since 1996, holds the chair of the Teaching of Music and in the disciplines of Composition Elements of composition at the Conservatory of Music A.F.A.M.
