Information: http://youseungha.org/biography/ Seung Ha You, B.A. M.A. was born in Incheon/South Korea in 1986 and started playing the piano at the age of four. Education In 1996 he moved to Vienna with his grandmother and joined the pre-college at the Konservatorium Wien University. From 1996 to 1999, he was taught by Helene Stadler-Sedo, from 1999 to 2008 by Doris Adam, from 2008 to 2013 by Johannes Kropfitsch at the same university. Since 2011, he is studying Cultural Management at the University of Music and Performing Arts of Vienna. He studied chamber music with Denise Benda, Marialena Fernandes, Amiram Ganz and Claus-Christian Schuster. He attended Master classes with Daniel Barenboim, Victor Goldberg, Alexander Jenner, Michael Lipp, Jura und Vitaly Margulis and Harald Ossberger. Prizes & Scholarships He won the 1st Prize at the “Prima La Musica – Youth National Competition“ in 2000, 2002 and 2004. He won the 2nd Prize at the “Erika-Chary-Competition“ in 2004 and “Prof.Dichler Competition“ in 2009. Additionally he won the special prize for the interpretation of the compulsory piece at the “Rotary Interpretationspreis“ in 2010 and another special Prize at the “Konservatorium Auswahlspiel” in 2011. He got many scholarships: Steinway Austria(2000); Enami Foundation(2004); Prof-Friederike-Urz(2000,2002 and 2004), “Kulturkreis Mariahilf“(2004), Tsuzuki-Stiftung(2012) and “Große-Fidelio-Jahresstipendium” sponsored by HFP Steuerberater(2012). Concerts & Recordings He recorded a CD at the age of 12 with Boris Perrenou and the Russian Philharmonic Orchestra Moscow in Moscow Radio Hall (Label International Promotion of Art). He has given numerous concerts as soloist and ensemble musician in various concert halls like Wiener Musikverein, Konzerthaus Wien, RadioKulturhaus Wien(ORF) and Incheon Art Center. In 2007, he was invited to give a first solo recital at the BAWAG Kassensaal and followed in Yamaha Concert Hall(2009), Bechstein Salon in Kiev/Ukraine(2010), Sala Ajache Udine/Italy(2010), Sala Artificio in Olmi/Italy(2011) and Mozarthaus Bösendorfer-Saal in Vienna(2012). In 2011 his first composition “Quintet for piano and strings op.1? was performed in Feldkirchen/Carinthia and Mürzzuschlag/Steiermark. In 2012 his second composition “Refléxion sur la mort op.2d” was performed by Trio Revantgarde, broadcasted on the radio “Ö1? and released on CD by ORF (Austrian Broadcasting). "qqq" 's
