Information: Victor Vreuls was a francophone Belgian, who lived from 1876 till 1944. He came from Verviers just like Guillaume Lekeu, and just like him he belonged to "la Bande à César Franck". His teacher was Vincent d'Indy and just like him he was teaching at the Schola Cantorum in Paris. He tried to start a centre for ancient music in Brussels, but failed. He was Director of the conservatory in Luxemburg. He composed two opera's, two symphonic poems, lieder and chambermusic.
