Ty Kroll is a graduate of the University of WI-Madison School of Music with a Bachelor of Music in Composition having studied composition under Steve Dembski, Joel Naumann, and Les Thimmig. Ty studied choral conducting under Bruce Gladstone, and piano in Martha Fischer's studio. Ty has twice received a Wisconsin Alliance for Composers “F1rst (,) Listen!†commission. He has been commissioned by avant-garde theatre troupe TAP IT/New Works, pianist Jessica Johnson, choral conductor Tyler Forsythe, and the Wisconsin Art-Song Project. Ty's music has been performed internationally. Currently Ty works as a digital music specialist for Musicnotes.com, studies voice with Robyn Brennan and sings in the UW-Madison Choral Union and Men's Choir. |
